What a work program is

CMS says a work program includes certain state job and training programs and some veterans' training run by the VA or the Department of Labor. Ask your state Medicaid agency if your class or program is on its list.

You can mix training hours with work, school, or community service to reach 80 hours.

What to keep

Ask for a letter or an attendance sheet from the program. Log the hours in the 80 hours tracker and add a proof photo of the letter.
